The United Kingdom will be leaving the European Union at 11pm on 29 March 2019.
Our Emerald Team attended the “Information on Brexit and Customs” meeting held on Wednesday 9th January and we would like to share some valuable information that we picked up on the day.
Whichever outcome is finally agreed, our ambition is to continue to provide you with reliable and efficient services whether that’s Imports – Exports to Ireland – UK to include all Customs Brokerage services from our expert team.
We have an important message that we would like to get across to you, and that is, please now go and register for an Economic Operator Registration and Identification number (EORI) @ https://www.revenue.ie/en/online-services/services/common/register-for-an-eori-number.aspx you will need an EORI number to continue to import or export goods to or from the UK, do this now to avoid complications in case of a No Deal.
For more information on this go to https://www.revenue.ie/en/customs-traders-and-agents/brexit/index.aspx
